About Us

Andreas Koutroulis as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Civic Pulse, is an ardent advocate for civic participation, open discourse, and the empowerment of youth in public life. A devoted MUNer and debater, he has distinguished himself through his active engagement in numerous conferences and tournaments, where he has consistently demonstrated eloquence, strategic thinking, and a profound commitment to constructive dialogue. Beyond his debating and organizational pursuits, Andreas has continually sought to bridge the gap between informed discussion and tangible civic engagement, fostering a culture of awareness, critical thought, and democratic responsibility among his peers. In his capacity as Chief Executive Officer, he endeavours to lead Civic Pulse with vision and purpose, overseeing its strategic development and ensuring its continued growth as a space for independent expression and meaningful youth participation. He aspires to cultivate a platform that not only amplifies emerging voices but also inspires intellectual curiosity, challenges entrenched perspectives, and promotes the values of transparency, inclusivity, and civic virtue at the heart of democratic life.

As the Chief Operating Officer, aspiring attorney, and emphatic advocate for the inviolable upholding of civic discourse, the democratic process, as well as constitutional principles Ioannis N. Sakellariou has been an impassioned member of the Athenian debate and Model United Nations societies, participating in over twenty-five such conferences and receiving remunerative awards in competitions, interned repeatedly in esteemed law firms, and instigated a multitude of solidaric actions for incarcerated minors. In the aforementioned position, he will not only endeavour tenaciously to provide efficacious administrative and technical support for the “Civic Pulse,” overseeing scrutinously and ameliorating its operations, but will strive to enhance awareness concerning pertinent civic and constitutional issues, foster due dialogue and discourse, as well as combat the seemingly insurmountable chasm between adolescents and their involvement in the realm of politics. 

Athanasios Theodorou is the co-founder, CFO and Director of the "Monthly Charge" at the Civic Pulse Journal. A passionate MUNer and an active member of the international community, Thanos has sought to provide a space for open discussion on prominent world issues, a forum where modern ideas and young leaders make their debut. Through Civic Pulse, he plans to connect young minds and create a network of like-minded people, that can support each other, face challenges and create opportunities, as well as strengthen their understanding of the world that we all live in.

Dioni Elvira Kalpaka is an upcoming 10th grader. Over the years she has always been passionate about writing. Additionally she is passionate about the world around her and she tries to understand it as better as she can through her participation in MUNs and debates. She is the Chief Human Resources Officer(CHRO) at the Civic Pulse and she is really excited about this project as she whishes to help as much as she can.

Milianna Zinnaida Vengerets is going to be currently attending the eighth grade. Throughout the past year she has participated in over seven in person conferences (MUN) and five hybrid ones. She has additionally participated in international conventions which concern the United Nations. At such an impeccably young age she has proven herself as a educated woman and an accomplished writer. For the project at hand (Civic Pulse journal) she will be working as the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) and is very excited to assist as much as she can.

Dimitris is a creative individual who is passionate about this project. This year he will be starting his first year of senior high school. He is also an up-and-coming content creator, bringing fresh ideas and a unique perspective that sets him apart in a competitive digital landscape. For this project, Dimitri will serve as Chief Experience Officer (CXO). He's excited about what the future holds.

Thanos Patsopoulos is a student in the 2nd grade of High School. Throughout the year he has participated in multiple MUN conferences, as well as calls for action and demonstrations. He has times again been recognized and continued to prove himself as a writer, activist and debater, aiming for a better world for everyone. He will be the CSO (Chief Strategy Officer) of the Civic Pulse and hopes to play a role in helping this project grow.
